CMI updates for consultants

If you are a consultant, the CMI has lots of materials which can be useful in your work.

International Consulting Day

With the launch of the new management consultants’ journal and the upcoming International Consulting Day – 7 June 2018 – we would like to hear about your experiences, your best practice and, of course, any plans you have for the day itself. The journal will highlight topical issues, focus mainly on practical application and promote a better understanding of the value that management consultants can bring to an organisation. For more details on how to submit your articles for the journal visit the Institute of Consulting’s website.

New award for management consultants

This is an exciting time for the Institute of Consulting (IC) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) as we adopt the new Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC) award. The CMI will shortly be appointing a new Director to lead on the design, launch and delivery of this brand new award, ChMC, and a new Trustee to the CMI Board. There will also be the launch of a new online journal to specifically support management consultants.

How ‘Blueprint for Balance’ can help you

This research into gender bias in the workplace identifies the actions of organisations leading the way to create inclusive workplaces. The case studies show how straightforward interventions coupled with strong consistent leadership at all levels make the difference.
