The CMI Southern Region’s membership includes managers and leaders working in micro, small and medium-sized organisations. These members live or work across Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands and in the parts of Dorset, West Sussex and Wiltshire.
The regional board has number of its members leading work supporting SME and independent practitioner. They are keen to encourage contribution from both small and micros organisations into its various projects and CPD activity. They are also looking for members whose management and leadership work could be featured in brief case studies or be willing to share tips with other SME managers.
Many of CMI’s professional development events and CPD opportunities in the region and nationally can be useful to SME managers and independent consultants.
In 2017, we held a number of webinars, blogs and resources to support members working in SMEs and as independent practitioners. These included time management, personal productivity, planning for GDPR, reviewing finances, managing workplace conflict, copyright and intellectual property.
We are currently working on our 2018-2019 programme. If you are working in a SME or consultant and have a suggestion for a CPD event, resources or would like to write a blog on a management topic, contact us.
